New IN: Stan Smith & How To Be Parisian Wherever You Are

Today I finally received my Stan Smiths that I ordered more than a mont ago. I must not complain because I wanted to customize them. Now I can’t wait to have more time to take pictures and show you my outfits with my lovely Stannies.

Also, last week I got the book “How To Be Parisian Wherever You Are” which I didn’t have the time to read yet, but tonight I’m taking it to bed with me to read before I fall asleep. It will be two years in December that I’m living in Paris so I want to see which level of “la Parisienne” I am.

And before I go, for those of you who wonder what’s the link between the shoes and the book, let me tell you that, according to Vogue Paris (and Emmanuelle Alt never goes wrong when talking about the style), the white sneakers are one of the classics of “la Parisienne” for this season.

Long Dress & High Heels

As promised, here is the same long dress from the last post but worn in a different way.

High heeled mules, houndstooth pattern scarf, long sleeves and red lipstick make this outfit ideal for the chilly nights out. You look stylish but you still stay warm.

Long Dress

I tried on this long dress a few days ago and I liked it so much that I decided to include dresses more often in my outfits for this autumn/winter season.
Today I wore this dress from Zara in a casual version with white sneakers. It was a very beautiful day here in Paris and I was walking a lot, so the sneakers were the best choice. I already have an idea for the new post with the same dress but in a different style. Stay tuned!

Sleek Turtleneck

The black turtleneck is a perfect item for the autumn weather. You can pair it easily with everything. I’m wearing it with blue jeans, pointy flats and shopper bag for a daytime look. But if I wanted to give it a more sophisticated note, I’d wear it with large pants or midi skirt. And of course, I would not forget heels and red lipstick.

New IN: Céline Pointy Loafer

These beauties were on my wish-list for more than two months. And so, I gave in. I love the combination of the black leather and the brick python, but most of all, I adore the pointy shape of these loafers. I already have a pair of pointy toe flats from Zara that you could see in one of my previous posts, but that pair is more “open” and not suitable for the colder days that are coming (and are already here). In the other hand, Céline loafers will be perfect for keeping me warm and, of course, stylish. As you can see, it was a well-justified investment. 🙂

Naked Back Dress

For all my readers, I’m sorry for not posting anything lately. I’ve been very busy. I will really need to organise better if I want to continue to write this blog.

So, here is a dress I was wearing two weeks ago for a wedding party. I find that the naked back gives so much charm to this dress that, even though glittery, appears to be very simple when seen from the front. Since the dress was covering my shoes, I took a picture of them with my clutch so you can have the complete idea of my outfit.

P.S. I apologize for the poor quality of the photos. My clutch was small so I didn’t take my camera with me.
