Summer Shots

Today being the last day of August made me think of all the great times I had this summer: I went to a wedding of a very dear friends in Tuscany, to Croatia to see my family and friends and to Normandy also to spend some time with family. I really enjoyed every moment of it and I must admit that is hard to be back in Paris (event though I love Paris so much). But, no need to be sad because Paris is too beautiful when it puts on its autumn gowns. So, while I’m waiting for the leaves to fall and cover up the parisian streets, here are some of my favorite photos from this summer.

Wedge Mules

The ideal shoes for the summer in the city, although I’m sure that I’ll be putting them on very often this autumn too. I already have a lot of ideas for the outfits that will include these beauties. Looking forward to showing them to you.

In this post I’m wearing them with a polka dot shirt and a casual version of office pants. I added an orange bag and one of my favorite sunnies to put a little bit of color in this outfit. 🙂

Summer Dresses

Summer is the perfect time of the year to put on a dress for every occasion. Here are three dresses I enjoyed wearing this summer.

RIVER ISLAND2

A strapless dress for a june wedding in Tuscany.

I just love the material of which it was made because it doesn’t get wrinkled and the dress always keeps it’s shape.

River Island dress Zara clutch

MNG1

A white wrap dress for an evening walk in Florence.

It is a dress that I bought at least 6-7 years ago and I had completely forgotten about it. It was a nice surprise to find it in my closet when I was packing. I like that you can’t be quite sure if it is a dress or a version of a summer trench-coat. What is sure is that the combination of two makes it a timeless garment.

Penelope et Monica Cruz for MNG dress – Morgane Sézalory bag – Topshop flats – Ray-Ban sunglasses

blue2

A blue linen dress for a grey august afternoon in Paris.

One of my favorites casual summer dresses that can be upgraded whit a nice pair of heels.

CAROLL dress – Morgane Sézalory bag – mass sandals

I hope you like my first post. Please, don’t forget to leave a comment.
